Terms of Use
Last updated 15 July 2026
1. Who you are dealing with
StockFly is operated by Sedat Kaan Gozum, a sole trader based in the United Arab Emirates. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sedat Kaan Gozum. "You" means the person using StockFly at https://stockfly.app.
By creating an account or using StockFly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
2. What StockFly is, and what it is not
StockFly is a portfolio tracking and analytics tool. You enter your own holdings and transactions, or import them from a spreadsheet, and StockFly shows you what your portfolio is worth, what your real return has been, and how your holdings compare over time.
StockFly is not a broker, a bank, an exchange, a financial adviser, or a tax adviser. We do not execute trades. We do not hold, move, or have access to your money or your investments. We do not connect to your brokerage account. We do not give investment advice, recommendations, trading signals, or strategies. Nothing in StockFly is an offer to buy or sell any security.
Every number StockFly shows you is a calculation over data you gave us, combined with public market prices. What you do with that information is your decision and your responsibility. If you need advice about your investments or your taxes, please speak to someone licensed to give it.
3. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure, and for everything that happens under your StockFly account. You must be at least 18 years old to use StockFly.
One person, one account. Do not share your account with others or resell access to it.
4. Free, the Pro trial, and Pro
StockFly has a free plan that stays free. When you sign up you also get 30 days of Pro, with no credit card. When those 30 days end you move to the free plan automatically. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked away: your holdings, history and dividends stay exactly as they were, and the free plan stays fully usable.
Pro adds unlimited portfolios, all Explorer insights, all Performance reports, the Tax report export, and the Planner tools. The current price is shown on our pricing section. We may change the features included in each plan, and we may change prices. If we raise the price of a plan you are already paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you do not want to continue.
5. Payment and billing
Our order process is run by Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. That means Paddle sells you the subscription, handles the payment, and takes care of sales tax and VAT where it applies. Paddle's terms also apply to your purchase, and Paddle will appear on your card or bank statement rather than StockFly.
Pro is a subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly depending on what you chose, until you cancel it. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise at checkout.
6. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason, without having to explain yourself. The full details are in our Refund Policy.
7. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account settings, with no cancellation fee and no phone call. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and then you move to the free plan. You do not lose your data.
8. Your data stays yours
The portfolio data you enter belongs to you. We do not sell it, we do not advertise against it, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to run StockFly, which are listed in our Privacy Policy. We use it to operate the service for you and to keep it working.
You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it at any time by writing to support@stockfly.app.
9. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Break the law with StockFly, or use it to help anyone else do so.
- Try to access other people's data, break our security, or probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the market data or the analysis StockFly produces, or use automated tools to hammer the service.
- Upload anything harmful, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. If we do, we will tell you why, and we will refund any unused paid time.
10. Market data and accuracy
Prices, exchange rates and dividend data come from third party sources, including Yahoo Finance. That data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and we do not control it. We work hard to get the maths right, but we cannot promise that every figure is accurate, and you should not rely on StockFly as your only source of truth for anything that matters, including your tax return.
11. Availability and changes
We try to keep StockFly running and to improve it, but we cannot promise it will always be available or bug free. We may change, add, or remove features. If we ever decide to shut the service down, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use StockFly after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Liability
StockFly is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or decisions you made using information from StockFly. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, or anything else, go to support@stockfly.app. A real person reads it.
